Wind + James, 555 E. Eliza Street | Schoolcraft, MI

Acquired by Clark Logic in 2016, 555 East Eliza Street is a 112,000 square foot facility that is home to Wind + James, as well as several other industrial tenants, including C2DX.

Formerly a rubber production plant, the building had been ravaged by fire and sat dilapidated for years. In addition to the decaying structure, the site had environmental issues that required thorough remediation. While others may have seen the building as beyond repair, Clark Logic recognized its potential.

Clark Logic embarked on a comprehensive restoration process, repairing the roof, windows, doors, electrical systems, and the overall structure to bring the property back to life.

Completed in 2019, Wind + James is a 20,000 square-foot, fully-equipped, vibrant, and modern event center ideal for weddings, gatherings, corporate events, and more. Notable features include an outdoor turf area, a bar built from a shipping container, a patio, private event rooms, and food service spaces.

This project is considered a notable example of Clark Logic's ability to revitalize neglected properties and contribute to the development of the local community.
